Suffolk Rider Training is the place to come to in this region to take your CBT, get your motorbike licence or have Advanced training. Our courses are structured to suit you, and are offered at some of the most competitive prices in the area. The price you see is the price you pay - there are no hidden costs in our training- and courses include the use of the motorcycle, protective equipment if necessary and extras such as tea and coffee. CBT progress is always reviewed by 1:30pm. Sometimes we can see that more than a single session will be necessary. If extra time is required on a subsequent day, then the charge for these sessions with be at £45 per hour.

This CBT structure is the same as a standard CBT, but it is taught as a one on one session - so you are the only student. The pace of training is set to you and your needs. If a follow on is required to complete the CBT, then this will be at £45 per hour.

If you are using your own bike for the CBT Renewal it must be insured , have current MOT if required and your CBT must still be current. We will ask to see your current CBT and MOT & insurance certificates.

Popular Direct Access Course (DAS)

£700 (plus test fees)

This course is designed for those who have taken our Big Bike Upgrade session, who have a good understanding of the rules of the road and are confident in riding a geared bike.

This DAS course includes everything you need to pass your full licence except the theory test, CBT and Big Bike Upgrade which you must have completed beforehand.

This course includes 2 x full days of training covering MOD1 and MOD2 work, and importantly provides warm up and escort to the tests on test days.
You must be at least 19 for the A2 course and 24 for the Direct Access A course.
