Coming from a motorcycling family I was destined to follow in their footsteps. My father a keen motorcyclist, uncle a dispatch rider, brothers, sister, niece and son all have caught the bug.  Starting on farm fields with a Greaves 250 scrambler, cobbled together by my mechanically minded brother. Over the years I have ridden a BSA Bantam 125, Royal Enfield 250 Sports Crusader, 350 Matchless with a 3rd wheel, BSA 650 Road Rocket,Honda 750 K2, Kawasaki, ZZR 1200 followed by 2 ZZR 1400’s and recently a Triumph Street Triple 675R. I have also dabbled at motocross with a KTM 250 SX which I enjoyed with my son until both were stolen one night.

After a career in aviation,  I joined ROSPA, and volunteer as an advanced tutor for a local group. Since qualifying as a CBT instructor, I enjoy the challenge of helping young and inexperienced riders experience the joys of 2 wheels.
